Greg Norman Collection Develops New Pant Program
NEW YORK -- The Greg Norman Collection triples its existing pant line for
fall 2006 by adding a classification trouser business with a large fashion
assortment in luxury fabrications. This new pant line perfectly complements
tops from the Signature Series, another new addition from the Collection
debuting fall 2006.
"We are filling the void of great fitting pants within the upscale
performance golf apparel industry," says Sarah Hand McAleer, Senior
Director of Design. "Initial selling is significant and we are excited to
enter the fall season with more options for consumers and retailers alike."
Certain bottoms feature modern designs including flat fronts; hand-stitched
detailing; full-curtain dress waistband constructions; and cuffed hems. A
cuffed herringbone pant made from 52 percent silk and 48 percent wool is
offered in addition to a microfiber cut chord with slash pockets.
In keeping with true Greg Norman form, function was also considered when
developing this new line. With its stretch technology, the Performance Fit
pant provides comfort and resistance to wear.
The overall fit will remain consistent between two of the Collection's
assortments, Signature Series and Essentials, and inseams are available in
30 inches and 32 inches. All pants are repressed after initial shipping to
ensure top quality and hand-stitched detailing. Suggested retail ranges
from $88 to $130.
"I am very impressed with the style and fit," said Jim Masserio, Head Golf
Professional, Aronimink Golf Club. "Our golf shop will carry several of the
new Greg Norman pants this fall and I anticipate our customers to respond
as positively as I have."
