Shark Shootout Charities will be hosting a 5K race in conjunction with the 2009 Shark Shootout. The Shootout, entering its 9th year in Naples, is Southwest Florida's only PGA TOUR event and is hosted by World Golf Hall of Famer, Greg Norman. The 5K will commence on Saturday morning of the Shootout and finish prior to the start of tournament play. Participants will compete on a self-contained course within the Tiburón Golf Club community. Proceeds from the race would directly benefit CureSearch National Childhood Cancer Foundation, the Shootout's primary charitable beneficiary.

Schedule: Registration: 6:00 - 7:00 am; Start Time: 7:15am (Sunrise - 6:58 am); Finish Time: No later than 8:30 am
Fees: Advance registration: $25*; Race Day registration: $30*; Children 18-under: $10*; * Includes one (1) daily grounds ticket to the Shootout
