Sandals Emerald Bay Announces Exclusive
Greg Norman Champions Golf Academies
MIAMI, Fla. – This year, Sandals Resorts International will leverage its exclusive partnership with Greg Norman to debut two new, week-long Greg Norman Champions Golf Academy dates, from June 11– 18 and December 1– 8, 2011, at the Sandals Emerald Reef Golf Club, part of Sandals Emerald Bay, Great Exuma, Bahamas.

Greg Norman will host a complimentary golf clinic on June 17th, available to one, two and three day program guests.
Throughout the two dedicated weeks, four PGA Certified Golf Professionals will be on hand to teach three, two and single day Golf Programs to enthusiasts of all skill levels. The program is pioneered by veteran PGA golf professional Greg Norman, who also designed the 18-hole championship course and serves as the Lifestyle Spokesperson for Sandals Emerald Bay. As an added incentive to participants of the summer 2011 academy, Norman himself will host a complimentary golf clinic on June 17th, available to one, two and three day program guests.
Golfers enrolled in the Academy will enjoy the incredible Greg Norman-designed oceanfront golf course while receiving intensive on-course instruction and assistance with course management as well as V-1 video swing analysis. Program inclusions feature the following:
Single Day Program:
- A four-hour instructional session including a full swing analysis to increase accuracy on approach shots and improve the short game
- V-1 computer and video analysis with a personalized DVD
- A one-time fee of $500
Two and Three Day Programs:
- Day 1: A four-hour instructional session with full swing analysis to increase accuracy on approach shots and improve the short game
- Day 2 & 3: A two-hour instructional session to reaffirm previous lessons; and a 9-hole lesson with a Greg Norman Champions Golf Academy instructor at the Sandals Emerald Reef Club
- V-1 computer and video analysis with a personalized DVD and 60-day access to the Greg Norman Championship Golf Academy instructional website, with applications to continue training at home
- One round of golf at the 18-hole Sandals Emerald Reef Golf Club
- Two-day program cost of $1,050; three-day program cost of $1,600
A golfer’s dream, the recently updated Greg Norman-designed Sandals Emerald Reef Golf Club is an 18-hole, 7000-yard, par-72 championship course replete with stunning oceanside holes and environmentally-friendly facets.
