Navarro To Caddie For Norman At Senior PGA

Navarro has been on Norman's bag for 23 of his 87 victories.

Tony Navarro, Greg Norman's long-time caddie, will be back on the bag this weekend as the Shark competes in the 69th Senior PGA Championship at Oak Hill Country Club.

Navarro, who worked as Norman's caddie from 1992 until 2004, is currently employed by Adam Scott, thanks to the urging of the the World Golf Hall of Famer.

"I can't thank Greg enough for the advice he has given me since I turned professional," Scott said at the time. "Greg's support of young players is well documented, but I think this gesture is perhaps the greatest show of support he could extend."

Having carried clubs on tour for nearly thiry years, Navarro has earned the reputation as one of golf's best. In addition to Norman and Scott, he has also worked for such players as Raymond Floyd, Ben Crenshaw, Keith Fergus, Dave Eichelberger, Hal Sutton and Jeff Sluman.

Navarro has been on Norman's bag for many of his greatest moments in the game, including Norman's 1993 British Open Championship victory at Royal St. George's and his record-breaking performance in the 1994 Players Championship. In total, he has played a part in 23 of Norman's 87 worldwide victories.
