Norman Looking For Weather At Turnberry
AAP - Greg Norman was lapping up the sunshine in Sydney on Monday, but the World Golf Hall of Famer says he'll be focusing on the weather at next month's British Open at Turnberry on Scotland's west coast.
The two-time British Open winner will be returning to the scene of his first major triumph in 1986 when he fired a brilliant second-round score of 63 in what the Open's web site describes as "wild conditions".

| Norman: "A lot of good memories (at Turnberry). We'll see what happens." |
Norman believes such conditions give him his best chance of challenging and even winning a third major, as demonstrated when he tied for third in a persistent gale in the 2008 British Open at age 53.
"I hope it's bad. I kind of enjoy it when it's a little bit rough," said Norman.
"When it's perfect conditions, the younger players who aren't experienced in the harsher conditions probably have a little bit more of an advantage.
Norman revealed he'd made a pre-Open trip to Turnberry.
"We were there recently, loved it. There has been a lot of changes at Turnberry with the hotel.
"A company we're involved with has just bought it and renovated it. I'm looking forward to going back there."
Asked if he could win a third major, Norman said: "I'd love to say yes. You never know.
"Last year (at the British Open) was a prime example.
"You go in there with a great attitude, good clear mind and a venue and an environment you love, there's no reason why not.
"A lot of good memories (at Turnberry). We'll see what happens."
Norman will mkae his debut as non-playing captain of the International Team for the Presidents Cup contest against the US in San Francisco in October.
Norman said he was impressed with the talent coming through the ranks of Australian golf, including Jason Day and James Nitties.
"Jason Day, I've been a big fan of his. I've played golf with him, I've seen his capabilities," Norman said.
"His performances have got better and better as the years have gone by.
"But there's a lot of them. I'm watching young (James) Nitties right now.
"He has got an opportunity of going forward and with the Presidents Cup just a couple of months away in San Francisco, I've got two picks.
"I watch these players on a bi-weekly basis and their performance is strong and there's a couple of Aussies in there as well."
