Tim Clark

Tim Clark got his golf career off to a smashing start when, as an 8-year-old, he made his first hole-in-one. If that doesn't get a kid hooked on the game, what would it take? Clark may have learned the game in his native South Africa, but he polished it in the United States, where he won the U.S. Public Links Championship in 1997. He played his collegiate golf at North Carolina State University, where he was the Atlantic Coast Conference's Player of the Year in 1997. He turned professional the following year, and in 2000, won two events on the Nationwide Tour, the Fort Smith Classic and the Boise Open. His first full season on the PGA TOUR was 2002, and coming into the 2009 season he had posted 31 top-10 finishes in 123 starts, including six runner-ups. He brings a 4-5-1 overall Presidents Cup record to Harding Park.
