The inspiration for Greg Norman Collection's new "PlayDry Utility Jacket" is a little bit golfer and a whole lot of urban warrior. The waterproof, fleece-nylon bonded jacket ($110, suggested retail) is longer than the traditional golf outerwear piece and roomy at the bottom to allow for a full range of movement. It comes equipped with zip-off sleeves and waterproof zippers, a rare and new technology. The jacket's urban appeal comes across with eight pockets, including those built to accommodate a cell phone, sunglasses and an iPod. "The jacket gives you more coverage and more range of movement," said Michael Stein, the company's VP of design. "But what I really did was just make a jacket for me to wear." |
